The Fazio Foothills Course didn't see the scoring of the Coore Crenshaw Course Sunday morning. Kyle Mendoza from Oceanside, Calif., and Tim Feenstra of Seattle posted the low round of three-under 68 on the Fazio Foothills Course in the morning wave.
Mendoza went three under despite two double bogeys on the eight and 16th, both par 4s. He birdied in bunches, carding eight birdies for his three-under par round. Mendoza birdied the first and second, ninth, 11th and 12th, 14th and 15h, and the 18th following a bogey on the 17th to post a 68.
Feenstra posted half the birdies of Mendoza, with a single bogey on the par 4 seventh and four birdies on the 10th, 12th, 13th, and 17th for a clean back nine to shoot 68.
